Join us for an evening of life drawing, live music, drinks and nibbles in the beautiful setting of the United Arts Club at the heart of Dublin city.
It’s a chance to practise drawing in a relaxed, social atmosphere with a live band. Enjoy a few hours of life drawing without pressure or expectations - switch off, relax and see what you create.
What’s in store
The evening is structured in a similar way to a life drawing class with warm up poses, progressing to longer poses of 15 minutes with regular breaks to enjoy the drinks, nibbles and live band.
We provide:
A life model (clothed) and live band
Basic drawing materials including drawing boards and a limited number of easels
Drinks and light nibbles
A chance to meet fellow artists and creatives to connect and learn
Location
Paréa Party will take place in the heart of Portobello, Dublin 8 at the beautiful Portobello Community Hall on Bloomfield Avenue.

We like to vary it but our band mainly plays gypsy-jazz, swing.

Although we use a similar structure, our session differs slightly from traditional life drawing. The poses are timed, starting out with short 2 minute poses and progressing to longer 5-10 minute poses. Our model is clothed and we encourage participants to draw either the model, the band or their friends.
Join us for an evening of life drawing, live music, nibbles, drinks and good company.
